Singer Sneziey Msomi looked back on her three months in motherhood with grace and gratitude.

She recently celebrated her baby turning three months old on her Instagram timeline by reflecting on what she learnt.

"The past three months were tricky but mostly beautiful. I’ve learnt and I’m still learning so much. I’ve broken so many 'parenting rules' but mostly my baby has given me a beautiful perspective of how love could really be and I’ve realised a lot about myself.

"I’ve had my fair share of Buscopan nights. I’d cry with her because I felt so helpless. I can’t believe I’ve navigated through the most hectic first three months of motherhood perfectly with a colicky baby. We’ve had high jaundice but like the soldiers that we are, we conquered," she wrote.

In June she excitedly announced the arrival of her bundle of joy Owomusa Ziyana, sharing posts about her journey through pregnancy.

"I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. ‭So now I give her to the Lord. For her whole life she will be given over to the Lord. Baby Owomusa Ziyana (intsikelelo) Vusani," she said.

In May the season 15 Idols SA contestant revealed she was expecting her first child with her hubby.

The singer took to her timeline, sharing the news with her fans and pictures of her baby bump.

"There is nothing that will separate me from God, and from his love. I’ve seen God pull through for others but I had never thought I’d one day share the same sentiments after so much hardship, pain, insults and expectations.

"Miscarriages, ectopic pregnancy now with no fallopian tubes, fibroids in my womb and a big one in the placenta. Through grace, I was also blessed to be a mom. With the hyperemesis gravidarum diagnosis to your strong kicks every day and your vegan behaviour. We can’t wait to meet you."
