All eyes were on half-South African Doja Cat as she arrived in a dress of bare threads at Tuesday night’s MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey, in the US. The prestigious ceremony honoured the 50th anniversary of hip hop.

The Paint the Town Red rapper and fashion maven appeared to be celebrating Halloween early as she arrived at the VMAs pink carpet wearing a custom couture gown of spider web threads by New York-based luxury designer Monse.
