Khuli Chana had an inking session, getting portraits of his children tattooed on his arm.
The rapper is a father to two — his firstborn daughter Nia from his previous relationship with actress Asanda Maku and his son Leano-Laone with his wife DJ Lamiez Holworthy.
Commemorating his son turning six months, Khuli got his first tattoo and another of his daughter two hours later.
“Celebrating six months of my son Leano-Laone Zion and got my first tattoo from Juan-Pierre le Roux. Got one of my little girl too. But why didn’t y’all tell me just how addictive these things are?” he wrote, sharing a video of him getting them done.
In another post, Khuli shared a video of him getting a tattoo of his daughter with the caption, “Daddy’s girl”.
Lamiez took to her Instagram stories sharing the video, speaking about Nia's excitement when her father showed it to her.
“She got so excited when her dad sent her a picture of this tattoo,” she said.
On Father's Day in June, the Buyile hit maker penned a heartwarming message to his children reflecting on how he grew up without his father.
“To Leano-Laone and Nia Lefika, you are my pride and joy. I love you. When you grow up a fatherless son, in many ways you have to raise yourself. There is no intimate model of who you want to become, so you’re always guessing, because no-one tells you what looks good on you, how to carry yourself or provide approval.
“Boys who grow up in homes with absent fathers search the hardest to figure out what it means to be man.”
