Heartthrob actors Mondli Makhoba and Thembinkosi Mthembu and musician Toss have earned nods in the Hunk of the Year category at this year's Feather Awards.
The trio, who have been making waves on big television productions and with brand endorsements, will join other nominees at the soiree taking place on November 9 at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
The 15th annual Feathers Awards, produced in partnership with the Thami Dish Foundation, will be hosted by the Modiselle sisters, Refilwe, Bontle and Candice, who will return for the third time as hosts.
This year the Simon Nkoli Award will be awarded to the multitalented, award-winning musician Thandiswa Mazwai.
“This year we are here to celebrate the diversity, creativity and resilience of all communities during these challenging times,” said Thami Kotlolo, co-founder of the Feather Awards.
“Finding support for our initiatives continues to be a struggle, but we are forever inspired by the boldness and braveness of the queer community in continuing to push boundaries, claim spaces and create greater freedom for all.
