Here's a peek at the top stories that made headlines this week:

Mohale denies being engaged

Mohale Motaung has denied engagement rumours after receiving congratulatory messages from social media users after taking to his Twitter (X) timeline to share a video of a supposed proposal, suggesting someone asked for his hand in marriage.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Mohale said he was not in a relationship nor was he looking to get into the dating pool soon.

“People just decided to create that. I took that from someone else. The ring is there because I put it there. There isn't a love life at all,” he said.

Social media streets had Minnie Dlamini for breakfast, lunch and supper

Media personality Minenhle “Minnie” Dlamini came under fire from social media users on Tuesday when she seemed to jokingly poke fun at football player and ex-lover Itumeleng Khune.

During a sports programme Minnie presents, she made remarks that seem to have left a bitter taste in the mouths of Khune's fans.

“No man guys, Khune doesn't still play,” she said. A voice in the background shouts to tell her the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper still plays. She makes facial expressions that seem to indicate her disbelief.

What's with Thuli and Maphorisa?

Fans are convinced DJ Maphorisa and Thuli Phongolo are sending subliminal messages to each other.

This after Maphorisa took to his timeline to share an image of Thuli and the actress took to her social pages to share a message to her supposed ex-boyfriend.
