'Skeem Saam' temporary changes 

Florence Masebe is to temporarily replace Harriet Manamela as “Meikie Maputla” on SABC1's Skeem Saam.

A statement on Wednesday said “unforeseen circumstances” caused Florence to take over the character for the rest of season 12.

'Big Brother' love triangle 

Things started getting heated with a love triangle between Jareed, Liema and Mpumi in Big Brother Mzansi

Since the first week of the reality show, viewers have witnessed many relationships form between the contestants. 

Jareed and Liema's chemistry has had many captivated since the beginning, but things escalated when others got involved. 

Slikour and Melissa's relationship woes

Siyabonga “Slikour” Metane and his wife Melissa Wilkinson have responded to allegations of abuse and infidelity.

This after Sunday World reported that the hip-hop star was dumped by his wife who allegedly accused him of emotionally “abusing and cheating on her”.

In a joint statement on Sunday, the couple said they were aware of the allegations and wanted to work through their issues privately.

Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards are back

Mpho “Popps” Modikoane is to host the 11th edition of the Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards.

The ceremony, themed You Think You Know South Africa and taking place on April 13 at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City, is expected to be a glamorous night filled with trophies, sketches, punchlines and satire, with a star-studded line-up featuring previous award winners and A-list celebs.
