Tropika Island of Treasure is setting sail again as Tropika island turns 40 and Zanele Potelwa is set to be the captain of the ship.

The media personality was announced as the host of the 11th season of the reality show set to premier in September.

Zanele excitedly took to her timeline on Tuesday to share the news with her followers.

“What a dream come true, literally. I get to say I’m the new host of Tropika Island of Treasure? It can only be God. Thank you Jesus. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your shares, comments and messages and all (I’m literally going to respond properly).

“This is such a huge milestone in my career and it’s about to be an amazing season 11. I can’t believe I’m being trusted with such a big legacy show I hadn’t even started to pray for this, but God had plans, okay? But I definitely wanted to host it some day. And hi my new family @mytropika. I’m so grateful to all my bosses. I’ve always admired the hosts of this beautiful show, and yoh, I’m going to be posting a whole lot of things throughout the week and I hope you enjoy them, my champions.”

Updates in the coming days will reveal the star-studded line-up vying for the coveted R1m and the date of the show premiere.
