Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo is set to host the reunion of Showmax's original reality show The Mommy Club season 2.
The media personality takes over from Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo to unpack the dramatic series which showcased the throwing of champagne and confrontations and featured a spiritual medium.
The women split into two groups, with Her Majesty and Mrs Mops on one side and Nunurai, Ratile Mabitsela and newcomer Mrs Sande on the other.
Ntombee promised to address all the issues that took place on the show with “no fear or favour.”
“As a fan of The Mommy Club, I am excited I will host the reunion. I relate to the ladies on so many levels and I know how fulfilling and challenging motherhood can be. My experience as a mother and a wife will come through at the reunion. As women, we wear so many hats and we juggle a lot, so I understand what the ladies are going through,” she said.
“I am there to represent the fans and make sure their voices are heard. It is not about me. I am going to remain neutral and make sure we get to the bottom of everything. I am going there and will try to understand each mommy’s point of view, and see how issues can be resolved so they can move forward.”
Her approach is to leave a lasting lesson for viewers.
“I want other mommies who are watching the show to learn from what the cast is going through. There is something to learn from each lady.”
