Former Mr South Africa 2021 Ntando Lurwengu believes he stands a great chance to be crowned Mr Universe 2024.
Ntando, 26, hails from KwaDabeka, Clermont, in KwaZulu-Natal and will take part in the Mr Universe contest on September 29 in Los Angeles, California.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the BCom graduate said apart from his achievements in the pageant world, he is a dedicated professional working full-time as a client success manager at AES Global.
“My people-focused career is a testament to my commitment to fostering strong relationships and ensuring the success of my clients.
“My true passion, however, lies in my advocacy for equal educational opportunities. I'm dedicated to creating access to quality education for all, believing that every child, regardless of their background, deserves the chance to succeed and thrive.
“My work in this area aims to break down barriers and build a brighter, inclusive and stronger future for younger generations.”
Balancing his professional responsibilities with his advocacy work, he “stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration”.
“My journey from business graduate to national and international pageant title-holder and a champion for educational equality underscores my dedication to making a positive impact on society,” Ntando said.
