Mr JazziQ, real name Tumelo Manyoni, is said to be prepared to undergo a lie detector test with YFM freelance content producer Ngcebo Mcobothi who accused him of sexual harassment.
Ngcebo took to her timeline recently claiming the DJ and producer sexually harassed her by grabbing her waist and forcefully trying to hiss her in a lift at the offices of YFM moments before his scheduled interview on May 23.
Though Mr JazziQ's management released a statement dismissing her claims, a source told TshisaLIVE the Amaneighbour hitmaker has offered to undergo a lie detector test to prove his innocence.
“All Mr JazziQ and team want is for her to prove he tried to kiss her and sexually assault her by taking a lie detector test, as there are no cameras in the YFM lifts and Mr JazziQ’s determined to prove his innocence,” said the source.
Mr JazziQ and his team requested CCTV footage from YFM's station manager Heseena Cassim, who said they had no cameras in the lift.
He's shared footage of him, Robot Boii, PR specialist Lwazi Zondo and Ngcebo before entering the lift with his videographer — one of whom took a lie detector test seen by TshisaLIVE.
In the test, they were asked questions including: “Did you see Tumelo in any way touching Ngcebo in an inappropriate way in the lift on May 23 2024?"; “did you see Tumelo trying to kiss Ngcebo in the lift on May 23 2024?”; and, “Are you lying about anything regarding the incident?".
All questions were answered with “no” and “no deception indicated”.
Approached by TshisaLIVE, Ngcebo declined to comment.
