Amapiano duo Malumz On Decks have launched a clothing line.
Oscar Nyathi and Mandla Mtshali are popularly known for their singles including Teka.
Oscar told TshisaLive the expansion of the Malumz On Decks brand signifies their 10 years in the music industry.
"We decided to rebrand, plus it's a new era we and had to come up with something creative, something current, something relatable"
Mandla said they intentionally made the clothes affordable because it's not about them making a lot of money out of it.
"We are pushing the brand. Our Shaket, that's what we call our jackets, go for R550 and T-shirts for R350. It is an issue of making the brand out there, it is affordable. We are working on a tracksuit and woolen hat for winter to come out in three weeks' time."
They do their own designing.
"We worked with a lot of creatives. We were assisted by Godspeed and they are doing well with their fashion business."
