Previously speaking to TshisaLIVE, Emtee denied it was anything more than a fall, saying he had not “had a drink in seven years”.
Emtee said he wasn't concerned by comments about the incident, many suggesting drugs or alcohol were involved.
He also slammed celebrities who spoke out about the incident and called out his record label Ambitiouz for not taking action.
“These people don't know me. They don't hang around me.”
Answering questions about his comments on Twitter where he said he wasn't in a good space, Emtee said he had lost an aunt and her death had affected him.

Amapiano singer Eemoh tripped and fell on stage during a performance at the weekend.
He was among some of mzansi's top artists performing at the Snap Sundays event in Venda.
