Legendary house music DJ Oskido says he does not have a beef with anyone.
News that DJ Oskido was at loggerheads with amapiano singer and producer Tshwanelo Motlhako, also known as Njelic, went viral on social media. In a video the Kalawa Jazzme boss spoke about a DJ bulldozing him off the booth.
After that video clip social media users were quick to conclude he was talking about Njelic.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE the former Metro FM DJ poured cold water on the rumours.
“No, that video was about something else and Njelic wasn't part of it, they are talking s*** these people, and I was even with him now. Intwana yam (he is my son). There's nothing wrong”, he said.
“Someone created a story that I'm beefing with Njelic, I mean I'm also one of the guys who likes what these boys are doing with the amapiano movement. You can see they've taken the genre global. Now tell me why would I beef with someone who's doing something great for the country through his music?”
Asked about his involvement in next month's Piano On The Park tour in the UK, the Ama'Grootman hit maker said he is a supporter of great work.
“I'm just going there to support the Scorpion Kings. The guys invited me to be part of their tour, just to make sure that things are happening. I'm happy with them that they're making bigger things.”
