Jojo Robinson revealed she was recently rushed to the hospital.
The Real Housewives of Durban star took to her timeline on Sunday to share a picture of herself in hospital together with her friends, reality TV star Nonku Williams and Ruan Scheepers.
In the post Jojo recalled being rushed to the emergency room at 1am after she experienced excruciating pain.
“When you're perfectly healthy and the next minute you find out your kidney was near failure,” she said.
“Found out I had a 1.6cm kidney stone blocking my urethra, which ultimately led to a backlog in my kidney where it had all turned to puss in the left kidney. My doctor removed the large stone and placed a stent in the kidney to help save it. I was told my kidney was a week or two away from failure if this didn't happen. In two weeks I have to have another surgery to remove the stent and other stones still in my kidney.”
