Socialite Shaun Stylist has achieved a million streams of his song Manje Monday.

The song, a collaboration with Nandipha808, RIVALZ, LeeMckrazy and Tumilemang, showcases his musical prowess.

Speaking To TshisaLIVE, Shaun Stylist, aka Shaun Andile Naki, said he expected the song to do well and believes it's still going to get more streams.

“Every Monday the song resonates with a lot of people on dance floors, as there's a new party movement 'Mogodu Mondays'. It was a great collaboration, so I expected a great reception.”

Shaun first attracted attention through his eccentric dress sense, which matches his lively, dynamic personality.

“Remember Manje Monday is more a reality that says you can do anything Manje [now], anything you can do. So Monday is a boy's holiday, it's so for everyone. We've started taking the song to activation. We had an event at Zone 6 where the song was welcomed. We aren't celebrating but hosting activations for the people who streamed and downloaded the song.”

Shaun said Manje Monday is a celebration of togetherness and festivity and recognising Mogodu Mondays culture.

“I did a lot in shaping the fashion culture in the country. My name became a brand before I got into music. I feel I have cemented my foundation in the music scene as a DJ and I want to focus on production, learn how songs are recorded,” he said.
