Cindy Makhathini has opened up about her split from her DJ Felo Le Tee.

The social media influencer and club host who went public about their relationship when posting pictures of them loved up togetherconfirmed she is a single woman.

In an emotional Instagram Live video Cindy revealed they had been broken up for a month, vowed never to date "industry boys" again, and spoke about what led to their breakup.

"If you're not forgiving, if there is something I did wrong and we love each other and we get over the situation after I apologise, then you bring all those things which you said you had forgiven me when we break up, why didn't you break you with me at that time? It was not stuff I did, it was stuff I said because I was being provoked. I'm not playing victim. He probably has his side of the story," she said.

"If I didn't get the disrespect towards the end, it was going to take some time. He called me all kinds of names you can imagine. He disgusts me this man, he's a liar."

Speaking about her preference in relationships during her interview on the 21st Century Podcast, Cindy said men who got into a relationship with her had trouble trusting her.

"I have this bad luck. I don't know if it's bad luck, but the guys don't trust me. In every relationship I've been in, I have to always explain myself, that I am not doing anything."
