Maskandi star Kuzani Ndlovu, popularly known as Gatsheni, is into livestock farming.
The Hit After Hit singer has filled his kraal in his hometown Phongolo in KwaZulu-Natal with cattle and goats and established a chicken and egg business.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Gatsheni said he loves farming. He said it originates from his roots.
“I am a passionate farmer. Cows over six months old are costly with a starting price ranging from R10,000. While I am touring across the country there are people I've hired to look after my farm. Some of my brothers feed the calves. If I'm around I tend to handle everything on my own”, he said.
The 34-year-old said he is all about youth empowerment.
“I intend to grow the business and collaborate with my community on initiatives that will develop the youth, specially from our rural areas.
“I am busy with new music that will be released towards the end of the year. I have opened a new chapter. Hit After Hit is one of the best works I’ve ever produced. I am focusing on the 2024 album and preparing for my event, the Gatsheni Music Festival, which is set to take place on October 5 2024 in Phongolo. I am looking to secure partners and sponsors and a strong marketing team.”
When asked about his recovery journey after he was involved in a car crash, he said: “ Fortunately, no one was hurt. It is only the car that was affected. The whole team is well.”
