Award-winning radio jock Bongani Mtolo has joined Vuma FM.
Bongani left his fans stunned when he exited Radio 2000 last year and has joined the KwaZulu-Natal commercial radio station to steer the weekday afternoon drive show, starting on Monday.
Vuma FM, known as KwaZulu-Natal's “Adult Radio for the Young at Heart”, is introducing a new line-up effective from August 1.
The station has seen consistent growth since its launch in November 2012.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Mtolo said he was supposed to start on Thursday, but decided it's better to start on Monday.
“I'm going to give my listeners a great radio slot. I haven't been on radio for about a year, which is amazing. I had a proper break and a chance to listen to what's happening in the radio industry. My listeners should expect the best from the show.”
Vuma FM is part of Arena Holdings
