Rapper Shebeshxt has announced his return to the big stage after a car crash.
The controversial rapper was involved in a crash on his way to a gig on June 8. He was seriously injured, his partner Kholofelo Moloto sustained moderate to serious injuries and their nine-year-old daughter died at the scene.
The concert, themed My Music, My Story, will be at Opera Theatre on September 28.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Shebeshxt's lawyer Lot Rammusi said they are waiting for approval from the rapper's medical team on his readiness for the show.
“The show is about him telling his story and explaining his experience. He is still going through physiotherapy and psychological therapy. He is still recovering but he is doing well. The event will have a full orchestra. I can't give more details because I'll be ruining the surprise,” he said.
“We don't want to take a chance as far as his mental health is concerned, but he is positive about his show and looking forward to doing what he loves which is being on stage.”
