Businessman Leeroy Sidambe's associates say they have advised him to walk away from his relationship with YouTuber Mihlali Ndamase.

This after Mihlali took to her Instagram stories on Sunday to post images of bruises on her forehead, lips and under her eye, writing, “Thank you my angel Leeroy,” before deleting the posts.

After Leeroy was accused of abusing Mihlali, he shared a statement denying the claims. This week sources close to Leeroy suggest that they've advised him to break things off with Mihlali “to avoid further humiliation and embarrassment that she has brought to you and your businesses”.

“His marriage to his wife was well intact and it never interfered with business, until it was documented in the open through his new relationship with Mihlali; from then it has been negative reports and it is not helping the business. Imagine being on media outlets every week for wrong reasons and on the other hand you need to chair meetings — it's like he is living in a circus”, said a source.

Another source said: “Ilento yoku'jola nezi ngane [it's this thing of dating kids], like now we don't know what's going on. Leeroy must dump this girl since there's nothing good coming out of their union. She's brought shame into this guy's life, he is set to lose everything over nothing”.

As requested by Leeroy, TshisaLIVE sent questions on his WhatsApp as he said he was in a meeting. However he did not respond.

When previously speaking to TshisaLIVE in May, Leeroy denied dating Mihlali.

“My relationship reports always dent my business, and it's unfair to my kids and family. Guys, can we at least stop reporting on my love life? You know every time, you guys don't give me a breather, it's not OK. I am not dating Mihlali nor are we back together.”
