"[The] atmosphere in the venue is good. We just got a good reception of the show. We've just watched the first episode of Friends of Amstel: The Challenge. Everybody is happy with it. This show [is] mainly pushed and generated by the chemistry of the contestants. I'm excited that I am carving a path for myself. There's [a] good script that lands on my desk and I feel it is something I need to jump on to,” said Maleka.
Singer and songwriter Zee Nxumalo, known for her songs Fomo and Ama Gear, said she's excited to be part of the show and is gearing up for her European tour.
“So I was featured on the Friends of Amstel episode as one of the defenders and my experience was great. More than anything it was challenging, because it is a competition and you need to bring your A-game. Shout out to my friends for making sure we win the challenge. I can't wait to see my episode.”
“There’s nothing like seeing this platform come to life as a brand-owned TV show, bringing well-known musicians and consumers together over friendly competition, great music and, of course, Amstel,” said Alicia Reddy, the beverage's senior brand manager.
“We’re thrilled to bring this unique experience to our consumers and can’t wait for everyone to get hooked on the show.”
