Singer Zee Nxumalo is set to embark on a European tour.

The artist, whose real name is Zandile Nxumalo, is known for songs including Fomo and Ama Gear.

Her debut EP KwaNxumalo was released in June 2022, and her single Funk 55 was one of the biggest songs of last festive season. A month after its release in late November it was streamed more than 3-million times across different platforms.

Zee told TshisaLIVE she's excited as it's going to be her first time out of the continent.

"I don't know what to expect in that part of the world. I have a few radio interviews lined up there and some music performance, and I can't wait to interact with music fans during the tour. I'll be using some dancers from Europe. We are rehearsing with my dancers here at home in preparation for the tour," she said.

"The success has been nothing short of amazing. I didn't anticipate such a reception of the music I've offered my fans. I worked hard. I put in the work."

The Eswatini-born singer is nominated for the Motsepe Foundation Record Of The Year at the 30th Samas.

"I feel very anxious. The nomination on it's own is a win for me, but I'm anxious more than anything because if we win we'll receive the money that comes with the award, so that will be dope," she added.
