Sizamavezi Kweyama, popularly known as Stanky Deejay, is grateful for a second chance at life after he was involved in a near-fatal crash on August 12.
The amapiano star took to his timeline on Monday to reassure his fans he was recovering after undergoing surgery and was taking time off.
“I've undergone surgeries and wish to also inform the public that the doctors have booked me off for the next six weeks to recover fully. Thank you to those who knew and came to see me in hospital in the past three weeks that I spent there, also thanks to those [who] have been sending messages and prayers,” he said.
“In respect to my recovery, that requires me to attentively take care of myself. I request the media, fans and promoters to respect the next few weeks till I can announce I am fully recovered and ready to see the world again.”
