Kwaito singer Msawawa is making his long-awaited return in the music business.
Msawawa, real name Siboniso Dlamini, made history as the youngest known kwaito musician in Mzansi at just nine years old.
His journey from dancing for Mzambiya to embarking on a solo career and releasing music is a significant part of his story.
Msawawa, who also runs his record label Msawawa Music Production, said a documentary he's working on will feature events he has performed at over the years.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the 35-year-old said he has been making music on the sidelines and never left the music scene.
“This isn't a comeback, people who follow me know I've been in music. This single I'm going to release is not a comeback. I've worked with Vukani on a song, Izandla Phezulu, featuring Calvinator from Uzalo. We'll be shooting a music video between Joburg and Durban,” he said.
“The Msawawa Youth Foundation I formed in 2015. I'm filming a documentary that delves into my life and career, highlighting the importance of documenting my experiences and the significant events that unfolded.”
