Gospel singer Xolly Mncwango is ready for her Unusual Encounter concert on September 7 at Carnival City, Ekurhuleni.

The concert will be the official launch of Xolly's eagerly awaited second album Unusual, which promises a musical voyage that has fans and critics filled with anticipation.

The Richards Bay-born singer told TshisaLIVE she's been longing to launch her album for some time.

“In an intimate set-up but bigger venue, God has been doing unusual things in my life and I wanted to experience it with the people after my journey,” she said.

She's thrilled to finally share Unusual with the world. The album is a celebration of love, faith and the divine.

“The wait is over and I'm excited for everyone to embark on this musical journey with me.

“The stage acts will be revealed next week, but it's people who are close to me and have walked the journey with me.

“Besides my busy schedule with music, I am a farmer and that keeps me busy away from the music side,” she added.
