DJ Fresh has expressed his grief after the passing of his ex-wife and mother of his children, Thabiso Sikwane.
The radio and television personality died at the age of 50, her family confirmed in a statement on Friday.
DJ Fresh took to his timeline to shed light on the cause of her death.
“We did lose Thabiso this morning around 6.30am. We are told it could have been a cardiac event, but [what] could have caused it hasn't been ascertained, so we await a postmortem. We will give everyone clarity, because it doesn't make sense to anyone. We will keep you updated on memorial and all of that,” he said.
DJ Fresh said while he is mourning Thabiso's death, he was “in two minds” about taking bookings but knows she would have wanted him to continue working.
