Podcaster and comedian Flymotion is set to host the Mgungu Comedy Show.
The comedian, real name Sandile Makhanya, will host the show on September 28 at the Golden Horse Casino in Pietermaritzburg.
The show features a stellar line-up of comedians including Celeste Ntuli, Simphiwe Shembe, Siya Seya, Ndlebe and Master.
Flymotion said the show aims to celebrate and showcase our rich cultural heritage through laughter and entertainment.
"With a massive line-up of talented comedians and performers, we seek to create an unforgettable experience for our audience while promoting unity and ubuntu," he said.
The Basement Podcast anchor said he is happy with the response he's been receiving in the form of ticket sales.
"Everything is going according to plan and so far 65% of tickets have been sold and in a few days it will be a sold-out event. I've got a lot of material since there's a lot happening in the country which one can tell jokes about."
Simphiwe said he's grateful to be included in the line-up.
"Flymotion is a close friend and we've been in the industry for more than 15 years. I'm proud of him hosting a comedy show."
