Amapiano singer Boohle has postponed her European tour.
The artist, whose real name is Buhlebevangeli Hlengiwe Manyathi, was set to perform at Frannz Club in Berlin, Germany, but she says due to delays with her visa she had to push back the tour. The tour was supposed to have taken place August 31.
A few months ago, Boohle — known for her songs such as Hamba Wena — released her new album Umhlobo and has been looking forward to showcasing her album on the international stage.
She told TshisaLIVE: "We pushed back the tour because there was a delay in our visa being issued. However, we’re still travelling and doing more shows in Europe.
"The album is building up slowly. Simple because it’s a more soulful sound — we went for a new sound this time. Simple because Boohle is a very musical artist, also in her lyrics —commercial piano doesn’t showcase much of her voice. However, our people will catch up because they love Boohle.
"We also made sure that the album drops with four music videos."
Boohle has rescheduled the show to December 10 at the same venue. "In terms of the number, luckily we do have a fanbase that is loyal to Boohle all over the world, they still stream and love our music, so December we'll be on course with my tour," she added.
