Despite facing challenges in the music industry from an “industry heavyweight” who is allegedly keeping him from releasing music, Sir Trill still continues to create music.
The amapiano sensation left fans stunned and eager for more after recent video circulating on social media showcased him dropping bars in the studio with rapper Flex Rabayeezy, winner of Vuzu's The Hustle season 2.
Flex, who recently made his musical comeback, told TshisaLIVE how the two stars ended up recording a hip-hop song together.
“It took very little convincing, close to none,” he said.
“I was in his session with Lord Script and Touchline, so he pulled me aside and said he has mad respect for me and if the night allowed, he wants us to make a song — and I agreed.”

This collaboration marks a full-circle moment for Sir Trill, who began his career as a hip-hop artist and once entered the The Hustle competition as a battle rapper.

He is now in conversation with amapiano star Young Stunna, who also started his career as a rapper, to record a hip-hop track together.
