Thabiso Sikwane's memorial at 3C Ministries in Irene, Centurion, was an event that honoured the broadcaster's contribution to the entertainment industry and the impact she had on people's lives.
The radio and TV personality and former wife of DJ Fresh died aged 50 in August.
Some attendees donned bright African print garments, dancing in celebration of Thabiso's life.
Oskido sent his tribute in a video reflecting on meeting Thabiso in the 1990s when they worked on music.
“They became family to me and it's hard to see her leave us, especially when it seemed like they were coming back together as a family. What I admired most about Thabiso and Fresh is how they showed us you can have differences and opinions as a couple yet still co-parent and build a family with love, respect and grace,” he said.
Thabiso's friend, former media personality turned businesswoman Carol Bouwer, who was emotional when she stepped on stage, opened in song and recalled her last phone call she had with Thabiso.
“It is a privilege to honour someone such as Thabiso. The sadness of not being able to see you again, Thabiso, is countered by the privilege of knowing you lived an exemplary life, a life that means speaking about you evokes good memories in our hearts.”

Former Kaya FM MD Greg Maloka also took to the podium, recalling their last phone call conversation and friendship.
“When I got the message of her passing it didn't make sense. It still doesn't. I thought about the babies. I thought about Thato. I thought about all of us who will experience this loss. What she gave was a lot and we are eternally grateful to have had this time with her.”
Actress Kgomotso Christopher, who revealed she was Thabiso's cousin, reflected on their memories shared over the years.
“Thabiso could play different roles, she could wear different hats and she did all those roles exceptionally well but her most beloved and cherished role was being a mom to her children.”
