DJ and promoter Grego Villa's event on Saturday was a success and featured electrifying performances.

Real name Gregory Hlatshwayo, Grego hosted his Exclusive White event at the Willowmoore Park cricket stadium, Ekurhuleni. The event was moved from Carnival City due to logistical issues and attracted thousands of people.

The line-up included Mafikizolo, Vusi Nova, Somizi, Oscar Mbo, DJ Fresh, Ntando, Morda, Lamiez Holworthy, Sjava and DJ Zan D.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Grego said the logistical issues didn't harm his brand Exclusive White as people had purchased tickets for the event two months ago.

“As a promoter you've got to have plan A to plan Z. People here are having fun and not worried about venue changes. This is business and it isn't child's play. The brand Grego Villa delivers. I'm happy with a great turnout. I delivered as usual”, he said.

“It is a sold out event at the first-time venue. My team and I take our fans seriously. All artists came and gave the best of performances. Whatever circumstances I've faced prior to this venue won't derail me.”

Singer Nhlanhla Mafu from Mafikizolo said: “We've been performing at Grego Villa's events for years. We are working in studio and soon you'll get information. Grego disappointed his haters again with his Exclusive White event. I'm happy. This is historical.”
