Details for the memorial and funeral services for legendary kwaito star Sandile "Mapaputsi" Ngwenya have been announced after his death on September 5.
The Izinja hit maker's manager Busi Kunene confirmed to TshisaLIVE that Mapaputsi died after being ill for more than a year.
A memorial service will be held at Eyethu Shopping Centre in Machaba Drive in Mofolo, Soweto on September 12 from 2pm to 6pm.
His funeral service will be held on September 14 at Dlamini Multipurpose Centre Hall in Koma Street in Dlamini from 8am to 11am and he will be laid to rest at West Park Cemetery's Heroes Acre.
