Linda Sebezo fires back at critics judging her Shoprite shopping spree

Linda Sebezo says she's not fazed by social media trolls criticising her for shopping at low-end retailer Shoprite.

In a recent social media post, the actress lashed out at critics for constantly scrutinising her personal life.

The latest controversy surrounds her choice of supermarket, with some people taking issue with her shopping at Shoprite.

Linda said she was not going to change her life to fit the expectations of her followers because she was a simple woman living comfortably. 

“You guys don't know what you want to talk about anymore. When you speak about people you speak about things I don't understand. One moment you say I'm pregnant, and the next RIP. Now you have a problem with me shopping at Shoprite. Is there anything wrong with someone shopping at Shoprite?

“I'm a simple person and I believe I'm a people's person, that's why I chose the line I am in. No, you guys are taking it too far. You are bullying us. I have a family. I don't go to bed hungry. Now you are taking it too far. Shoprite is a small one. I live in Soweto.”
