In a surprise move, rapper Lolli Native has confirmed his departure from Emtee’s Emtee Records.

The news comes after a series of X posts from Emtee last night, which seemed to hint at the end of their professional relationship.

In a statement, Lolli Native expressed his gratitude towards Emtee. He said he would never be on bad terms with someone who put him on.

“It is with respect and gratitude that I confirm my departure from Emtee Records. Following a series of tweets (on X) shared last night by the label owner, Mthembeni Ndevu (Emtee), this decision has been reached, marking the end of my journey with the label,” he said.

“I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Emtee for his significant contribution to my career. During my time at Emtee Records, we accomplished a great deal, and I fully respect his decision regarding my release. I wish Emtee Records and all the artists under its wing nothing but success in the future.

“Emtee has always been like a brother to me, and that will not change. I wish him all the best in his personal and professional endeavours moving forward.”
