Lebo Keswa says she’s unfazed by memes about her circulating on social media.

Keswa has been on what is dubbed a “break-up” tour, hopping from one podcast to another speaking on why she opted to divorce former Generations actress Letoya Makhene.

Social media users have turned some of the moments from her interviews into memes and comic video clips.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Keswa said she did not care, all shes doing is to protect her image, which she claims Makhene tarnished with lies for likes and views on social media.

“Im aware of the memes and South Africans ridiculing me over my podcast interviews about my marriage to Letoya. Ill go all out to clear my name from the dirt I found myself in by associating with her, because we live among such a fickle and ignorant society, where everything is humour. Im really not bothered,” she said.

“I’m fighting here with a celebrity who has 2.5-million followers in all social media platforms, and I know that while we were married shed post our pictures and Id receive over 50 000 likes. So I know what I’m talking about and doing here. I stand by my truth because Im dealing with a celebrity.”

Two months ago, TshisaLIVE reported that Keswa denied Makhene’s claims that she stole money from her.

She said then: “I am not a thief, I work hard for my money. Ive lost a lot through Letoyas antics. Her family and her baby daddies were living off my hard work. I never thought Letoya would stoop that low to end up feeding some media outlets with her lies. Ive lost out on a great job due to bad reporting about my marriage.

“I dont like to vent about my private life in the media but now this messy situation has led me to speak out. I just want to deal with this situation and move on with my life. In fact, Im in debt because of Letoya.”
