Gagasi FM presenter Nonjabulo "Njabs" Zwane claims to be a victim of GBV, allegedly at the hands of a man known to her.

Zwane hosts The Lift Off on weekday mornings between 9am and midday.

News of her alleged abuse emerged when blogger Musa Khawula posted about it.

TshisaLIVE has learnt that the radio jock demanded that the blogger take down the post. Zwane's plea reads: "Hi @Musa_Khawula please delete your post about me. I have NOT chosen to speak about this case, nor have I chosen you as my mouthpiece. This is a gross violation of my privacy, more especially since the matter is in a court of law!"

When contacted by TshisaLIVE, Zwane said: "My stance on GBV (and violence in general) is well documented. I have no empathy for perpetrators.

"No comment on my matter as this is an ongoing court case.

"I am not granting the publishing of any pictures you may be in possession of that pertain to my assault as they are part of my docket and evidence pack."

Efforts to reach the person implicated were unsuccessful.
