Presenter Makhosi Khoza is joining Zone Radio.
Khoza worked for the company before when it was called Megazone Hot Radio, now rebranded Zone Radio, in KwaZulu-Natal.
Khoza told TshisaLIVE he was interviewed on sister station Megazone Bollywood 104.8FM in 2023 as he was announcing his participation in the Durban International Book Fair 2023.
“They asked if I was keen to join and I said if it makes sense, why not? So here I am. The cherry on top is I am reuniting with a former colleague from East Coast Radio, Zaba Simbine — or Kween Zaba, as she likes to be called.
“You can expect me reinvented, but edgier. Internet radio is more accommodating for outspoken personalities and that's what we are aiming for. Radio has become too clinical in certain quarters and social media is winning hands down, but all the influencers are doing is being authentic, which is key to relatability.”
TshisaLIVE has learnt his show will be called After School is After School,
“It will be a meeting place where we thrash out issues but also a playground. Join us Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm, download and stream us from your favourite app store.”
