Burning Spear is retuning to South Africa to deliver an electrifying performance featuring the songs that have defined the reggae genre and made him a superstar.

Presented by Lioness Productions SA and Sound System Club in association with Breakout Events, this is no ordinary concert — this is the One People Africa Tour, a cultural phenomenon.

“I am thrilled to return to South Africa, a country that has always been close to my heart,” said Burning Spear.

“The spirit of unity and resilience that defines your people is something I deeply admire. I look forward to sharing my music and message of hope and freedom with you all once again.”

WHO IS HEADLINING THE SHOW?

Joining Burning Spear on this historic tour will be South Africa’s very own reggae royalty, The Lucky Dube Band, alongside the legendary Dr Colbert Mukwevho. The line-up also features powerhouse acts like Jahseed Di Fireseed from African Storm Soundsystem, Bongo Riot, Reign Africa, Skeleton Blazer, Black Labone House Band, Nicky B and Kebra Ethiopia Sound.

October 19, at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg.

Tickets, ranging from R579 to R 8,325 are on sale at TicketPro, Spar Payzone, Webtickets, and Pick n Pay outlets nationwide.
