Melinda Bam and her husband Adriaan Berg are excited about the arrival of the new addition to their family after they revealed they are expecting a baby girl.

The former Miss South Africa took to her timeline to share a video of her growing family popping pink smoke bombs when announcing her gender.  

“Girl or a boy? People always ask. Like you’re ordering a toy, a delivery task. But life’s wonder doesn’t fit on a shelf. It’s joy wrapped in love, a little piece of self. Whether it’s bows or balls in the cart. Crafted perfectly by the master like a piece of art! Raise a glass or two and let’s all enjoy. The perfect addition to us — a healthy girl or a boy?” she captioned the post. 

Two years ago Melinda welcomed her first child and has penned heartfelt messages to her baby boy.

Melinda has also expressed gratitude to her husband for being supportive.

“Every minute of that has been in your presence and in wonder and awe of what you are doing, creating, preparing. As much as you’ve created and formed this boy in my womb you have shone in areas that have never seen light in us before, awakening parenthood in a glorious sunrise. What a gift, what a wait, what an awakening, what a father,” she wrote.
