TV producer Mandla N and actress Sibulele Ntlebi are to host an acting workshop at Cosmo City in Johannesburg next month.
Ntlebi is best known as Nolitha Sokhulu from The Black Door and Isitha the Enemy.
According to Mandla N, he'll support Ntlebi in the acting workshop on November 2 at Cosmo City's multipurpose centre. The workshop will focus on acting processes, the creativity behind acting, character development, voice and performance, how to nail auditions and knowledge of the fine arts.
The aim is to “discover another Sibulele” and inspire people, Mandla N told TshisaLIVE. “It's spot a talent through this workshop and let people know and learn about the acting industry because there's a lot of jobs in the industry. People tend to focus on acting and there's a lot of departments in the industry.
“I work with Sibulele and I discovered her from Cape Town. I have a lot of productions which I've sold to Netflix which will air sometime in November, so there's a lot we are doing at Black Brain Pictures. We're always cooking and this week we're focusing on the Safta's [in] which we have nominations.”
