Sbo Da Poet gears to make his small-screen comeback

Sbo Da Poet is excited to make his return to television.

The actor, whose real name Sbonelo Mbutho, is popularly known for his stints on Uhlanga — The Mark, Mzansi Magic's Isibaya, Gomora and Zone 14.

He recently wrapped up filming The Score, which is expected to air on Netflix in 2025. 

“On The Score I'll be playing a lead and I was working with the creme de la creme of the acting fraternity,” he told TshisaLIVE.

Sbo Da Poet said he's also set to announce the upcoming soccer matches on SuperSport.

“From time to time I'll be announcing soccer matches on SuperSport to emphasise the importance of people going to stadiums to watch matches. Artists shouldn't only focus on one entertainment stream. Today's economy doesn't allow one to focus on one stream but to multitask when an opportunity arises”, he said.

“It's been a while since I was on the small screen. I'm excited to be doing this partnership. I'll be doing adverts for Betway premiership every week when there are soccer matches.”
