In a viral video, Malope made an emotional plea for help, claiming she had been denied access to her four children for the past 10 months.
“I have had 10 months without seeing my children. Kamogelo Phachane posts videos of my children on TikTok. Where does she get the right to show my children, who are underage, on social media? My children are all under 18. I need help because I feel like the law did not do justice to me,” she said.
“I'm stressed now because it's exam time, and I don't even know if my children are coping.
“Please help me. When I tried to approach this, Mothusi [her ex-husband] said I'm mentally disturbed. This touches me. I don't know how South Africa can help me because children need both parents present in their lives. We all deserve to see our children, whether separated or not. I need my children. Please help me.”
Phachane-Masudubele, married to Malope's ex-husband Mothusi Masudubele, has dismissed these allegations.
“According to my knowledge, all allegations made by Koketso Malope are false, and I cannot comment on this matter, hence I switched off the comments on most of my social media platforms,” she said.
She could not comment further as she and her business, Molka Beauty Studio, have allegedly been attacked by people who believe Malope's side of the story, “which is not entirely true”, she said.
“As soon as we are done with the legal team, I will be able to respond, open my comments and give my version of the whole story.
“I also urge all of you, my friends, family and teachers, to please be kind, especially to the children, as they are writing exams and we want them all to do well.”
