Months after revealing his stroke diagnosis, rapper Da L.E.S has been spotted in a wheelchair, sparking an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities.

Images shared by his barber Amukelani Chauke showed Da L.E.S smiling and looking determined despite his challenges.

The barber penned well wishes to the star after giving him a fresh cut.

"Everything is going to be alright," he captioned the post.

In early November, the barber shared images of Da L.E.S with the caption: "I know you are coming, you know you’re coming, they know you are coming grootman. All prayers to your family. One love."

On Monday, a statement released by his team shared a health update revealing the rapper is undergoing rehabilitation and taking things slowly with the love and support of his family

“He expresses deep gratitude for being alive, saying it's truly a miracle, and thanks God for his strength. I owe it all to God,” read the statement.

“Da L.E.S is incredibly thankful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers from his fans, friends, and everyone who's reached out.”

“He will continue to update everyone on his healing process and appreciates all the continued encouragement. Healing takes time, but he's staying positive and focused on a full recovery.”
