DJ Bongz gears up for gigs in US and Europe

Fresh from purchasing a nightclub, DJ Bongz is making a name for himself all over the world.

The house DJ and producer, whose real name is Bongani Dlamini, has international gigs scheduled, kicking off at Boca Luna Luxe Lounge in Florida, US, on November 24.

Next year he will be in Amsterdam in the Netherlands for Afro Soul Jam at Club Ijland on March 29.

Speaking To TshisaLIVE, DJ Bongz says he is excited to be plying his trade in the international market.

"There's quite a few international event dates yet to be confirmed. People are now willing to hear what we've got to offer as artists from South Africa," he said.

DJ Bongz is making moves. He recently purchased a nightclub in Durban called Viewz Urban Grill and Rooftop, formerly known as Views at 25.

“Bongz always believed that artists should have other avenues to generate income, rather than focusing on bookings and music. He hasn't been in the country recently as he was meeting investors abroad, so little did we know he'd buy Views,” a source told TshisaLIVE.

When TshisaLIVE contacted the Wintsi hit maker, he said: “It's going to be lit. We launch soon.”
