Felix Hlophe is officially off the market.

The Gagasi FM presenter and comedian had an intimate umembeso ceremony with his bride Tracy in Cleland in Pietermaritzburg at the weekend.

Umembeso is a Zulu traditional ceremony that forms part of lobola negotiations where the groom gives gifts to the bride's parents and family before the wedding.

Felix confirmed the wedding to TshisaLIVE.

“Felix kept every detail of the wedding hush-hush. A lot of his close friends weren't in attendance. On radio he even made jokes about getting married prior to the date,” a source close to the radio jock told TshisaLIVE.

In May, Felix told TshisaLIVE he wanted to make his mistress Ayanda his second wife.

“Yes, my wife has finally accepted uAyanda to be my second wife. I can't say much but soon there will be wedding celebrations,” he previously told TshisaLIVE.

Now, Felix has changed his tune about having a polygamous marriage.

“Felix has halted attempts to get into a polygamy arrangement as the thought of having a second wife in his household didn't sit well with Tracy. The wedding was private as he didn't want to bring the attention to his household again, since the polygamy attempts really put his relationship with his wife in jeopardy,” a source told TshisaLIVE.
