The Leonardo in Sandton was filled with stars last week as Patron El Alto Tequila, one of the world's leading "super-premium" tequila brands, officially launched in South Africa.

After its successful debut in Mexico in 2022, Patron El Alto arrives in South Africa offering a rare and masterfully aged tequila expression that pushes the boundaries of craftsmanship and innovation.

The exclusive event was attended by Nay Maps, Anele Mdoda, DJ LeSoul, DJ Maphorisa, Thuli P, Lawrence Maleka and deputy minister of sports, arts & culture Peace Mabe, to name a few.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, DJ LeSoul, aka Nonkululeko Mdlalose, said she was honoured to be part of the launch.

"The ambiance is remarkable and people are socialising while sipping the new range," she said.

Actor Nay said: "I had to honour the invite and be part of the experience."
