The recent graduation ceremony for laboratory animal technologists attracted some of the country's leading media personalities.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg on the East Rand.

This milestone event was celebrated with the achievements of new graduates committed to advancing science and medicine through ethical animal research practices.

Those in attendance included deputy minister of higher education, science and technology Buti Manamela and Diamond and Dolls producer Tebogo Ramokgadi.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Ramokgadi said: “The health and wealth sector of education has done an amazing job.

“Minister Buti is doing a great one uplifting the young through education. I'm happy to be part of this amazing experience.”
