The event, supported by Durban Tourism, will take place on December 23 at the CFCI Theatre in Berea.

The concert promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with uplifting rhythms, soulful harmonies and a deep sense of community spirit. Doors will open at 7pm with the event offering attendees a festive experience that celebrates the essence of Christmas.

This year, Ladysmith Black Mambazo is collaborating with a roster of talented artists to bring a unique gospel flavour to the event. Performers include Ayanda Ntanzi, Nomusa Dhlomo, the CFCI Choir and the Soweto Central Chorus. Together, these artists will create an evening of musical celebration that blends traditional and contemporary gospel styles, creating an atmosphere of unity and joy.

“Our Christmas concert is more than just a musical showcase. It is an invitation to share in a united spirit of togetherness, warmth and joy,” said Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

“Our event offers the ideal platform for holidaymakers visiting Durban during the festive season, offering them an unforgettable gospel-flavoured Christmas experience.”
