Reality TV star Mpumi “Mrs Mops” Mophatlane has made it clear she is standing by her vows and will not be turning her back on her marriage, despite speculation over the years about an impending divorce.

Mrs Mops has been married to businessman Isaac for more than a decade and has three children with him.

In a recent YouTube upload, The Mommy Club star candidly answered questions from her followers, providing insight into her life and lessons learnt along the way.

When asked about one rumour she wished she could shut down, Mrs Mops quickly addressed the persistent speculation surrounding her marriage.

“There's always rumours that I am leaving my husband ... it's not true. I'm here and I'm here for life. I'm in love with my baby daddy,” she said.

She shared the biggest lesson she has learnt about marriage.

“When you get married and you are one thing, and sometimes you grow apart and then you come back together again because people are different and people change. If you stay the same person that you were ten years ago, you would not be growing, so just be patient with each other, constantly communicate with each other.

“Love each other all the time. Loving your partner unconditionally because, money goes, beauty fades, the kids grow and leave the house and then you are just left with you and your partner and this man or women who used to be a super model now has wrinkles and all you have is their heart.”

During The Real Housewives of Johannesburg season 1 reunion in 2020, Brinnette Seopela alleged Mrs Mops was cheating on her husband saying she was “constantly” on FaceTime with men.

Then on the The Venting Podcast, she inferred Mrs Mops and her partner were no longer together.

Mrs Mops, however, has maintained the allegations are false.

“When you're in the limelight, people say things about you that are not true. It's just so bad. I was so taken aback by this acquaintance of mine. I've been married the longest in my group. I have been married for 15 years and I'm a dedicated wife and a mother. And that's something I take pride in,” she said in an episode of Showmax's The Mommy Club.
