South African musician Kaylow makes his return after a car accident. The 24-hours singer was involved in a car crash in September 2024.

The 38-year-old is known for his hit songs such as Soul Café, Nothing Better, and Greatest Love.

This week, his management team released a statement announcing his return to the music industry after a horrific car accident.

The statement reads: “South Africa’s beloved R&B and house music icon, Kaylow, makes a triumphant return with his heartfelt new single, Good Morning. Set for release in January 2025, the track is a powerful anthem of hope, resilience and embracing life’s fresh starts.

Reflecting on his journey of healing, Kaylow said: “Good Morning is more than just a song— it’s a reminder that every sunrise is an opportunity to try again. My time in recovery taught me to appreciate life’s small blessings and the strength to overcome adversity. Everyone has challenges, but a new day is a chance to rise and keep going.”

His signature soulful voice continues to define a genre, blending the emotive power of R&B with the pulsating rhythms of house music. Kaylow’s journey from Meadowlands to becoming a household name in South Africa is one of perseverance and artistry. Tracks like Reach Out have showcased his unparalleled ability to guide listeners through emotions, from the ecstasy of the dance floor to the depths of romance and heartbreak.
